General Financial Analyst

Role:                General Financial Analyst
Location:         London, United Kingdom - Hybrid
Contract:         12 Month FTC

As Cerecore International expands in the UK we are now looking for an experienced General Financial Analyst to join our team in remotely (with weekly travel to our London office).

Responsibilities:  
  • Prepare monthly profitability reporting for the project that includes Customer, Line of Business, and Project (SOW) details.  Analyze reports, provide conclusions, and discuss with our clients leadership on a regular basis.
  • Create and analyze reoccurring weekly & monthly reporting related to labor utilization, contribution margin, travel & entertainment expenditures, contract services, and revenue & bad debt recognition.  Distribute standard reporting and customized Director/Line of Business specific reports as requested or as business needs change.
  • Prepare monthly labor projections on a weekly basis for use in monthly project financial projections provided to Corporate.
  • Distribute streamlined and enhanced our clients system data to the project Accounting Team related to Month End Close and Audit related responsibilities, including labor accruals, travel expense accruals, revenue accruals, billing, HCA labor utilization, and weekly/monthly financial projections.
  • Prepare executive reporting to Leadership on behalf of our client’s leadership.
  • Participate in the preparation of Professional Services implementation deal models by working in concert with Finance and Leadership.
  • Assist in the yearly forecast and budget process by providing reporting and assisting with use of budget tool (or Budget Software Application as applicable).
  • Provide value-added analysis and actionable insights that help our clients leadership and operations to better manage the business. Work on complex operational and finance issues, where analysis of situations or data requires in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
  • Ensure all projects (SOWs) are aligned to the correct line of business with help from operations leadership.
  • Own and maintain the source of truth for Finance/Accounting systems and data, specifically related to Customers, Lines of Business, Projects, SOWs, Cost IDs, Fee Arrangements and Facility Parent/Child hierarchies.
  • Provide excellent customer service internally and externally with our vendors/customers.
  • Broker effective communication channels between Operational Leadership, Finance, and applicable departments related to the clients operational and financial information.

Position Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree with emphasis in Accounting or Finance.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including experience creating, using, and modifying intermediate to advanced-level pivot tables as well as experienced building and working with Excel financial models.
  • Preferred a minimum of three (3) years of financial analysis experience.
  • Ability to understand and explain costing, revenue, and profitability data to key stakeholders.
  • Ability to use Business Objects, Financial Cubes, and other data mining tools.
  • Microsoft Office skills and the ability to learn various HCA systems as needed.
  • Perform duties and responsibilities in a manner that supports the mission, vision and culture of CereCore.
  • Minimal travel may be required.
