Technical Support Analyst

We are seeking a Technical Support Analyst to join our team in Sunrise, Florida.  This position will be responsible for the day-to-day troubleshooting, administration, installation of hardware and software, and answering to all Level-I support request sent via email, tickets opened through the portal, and phone calls. It requires a high level of interaction with cross functional teams for the management of support tickets and issues and interaction with vendors to resolve all Level-I issues. Participate in IT on-call rotation.


Job responsibilities include the following:
  • Respond to requests for technical assistance by phone, email and/or using a help desk management system
  • Provide a single point of customer contact for technical and support issues, facilitate cross-functional solutions to issues
  • Participate in call center environment to answer all customer calls in support of IT Level-I issues while maintaining a confident, helpful, and positive tone on all calls
  • Ownership of issues by escalating incidents and problems to the appropriate technical resources
  • Installing, configuring and maintaining Windows desktop operating systems across a variety of devices
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products suite
  • Handle technology problems with Mobile device iOS and Android
  • Technical understanding of various hardware, software, and networking system supported
  • Active Directory administration in support of access management for all enterprise users
  • Track issues to resolution updating the internal knowledgebase
  • Creating documentation such as policies, procedures, workflows and support guides
  • Proprietary applications support
  • Support the installation and troubleshooting of network and local Printer
  • Perform command-line and PowerShell task and configuration management with personal computers
  • Manage third party vendors through problem resolution
  • Participate in IT on-call rotation
 
Requirements
  • 3+ years of customer service experience required
  • Associate’s Degree, preferably in Computer Science or information Systems, and/or equivalent formal training, technical certification or equivalent experience in computer discipline 
  • CompTIA A+ certification required 
  • Must have PC troubleshooting skills
  • Microsoft Office Specialist Expert certification a plus
  • Office 365 knowledge is preferred 
  • A polished phone presence, and superior verbal and written communications skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
